Dr. Surage is an Emergency Physician with over seven years of experience in Emergency Medicine. He has earned degrees from the University of the West Indies in Basic Medical Sciences (in 2005), Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (in 2008) and Doctorate of Medicine in Emergency Medicine (in 2015).
He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Advanced Trauma life support, Acute Pediatric life support, Paediatric Acute Life Support, Mass Casualty Management, Basic Assessment & Support in Paediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Acute Life Support.
He has special interests in the areas of Intensive Care, Airway Management and Academia. In 2010, he was given the award of Employee of the Year of the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
